Product Overview
Changing light conditions do not have to mean carrying several pairs of glasses. The Rothco ANSI Rated Interchangeable Sport Glass Kit gives you clear, yellow, and smoke grey lens options in one black nylon frame, so you can select the lens that suits your activity. An adjustable elastic strap adds security, while the included hard case keeps the kit together between outings.
Three Lens Options for Different Conditions
The clear lens provides an untinted option for airsoft and other safety applications. It is made from 2.2mm polycarbonate, giving you a specific construction detail to consider when comparing protective eyewear. For airsoft use, check your field’s eyewear requirements before choosing your eye protection.
The yellow lens offers an alternative for shooting, sports, and aviation, with UV-light filtering intended to improve visual clarity. When you need sunglasses instead, the smoke grey lens changes the same frame into a tinted option for outdoor use. Having all three included lets you choose between clear and tinted lenses without buying separate frames.
Comfort and Security During Active Use
A soft nose piece cushions the contact point across the bridge of your nose, an important consideration when wearing glasses for extended periods. The frame and temples are nylon, and the adjustable elastic strap helps hold the glasses in place during movement. That added retention is useful when moving around an airsoft field or taking part in outdoor sports.
The lenses have anti-fog and anti-scratch properties to help address two common frustrations with outdoor eyewear: condensation that interferes with your view and surface marks from handling. The glasses meet the ANSI-Z87-1 safety standard.
