Product Overview
A smaller tool or pen is easier to find when it has a dedicated place rather than sitting loose among your other gear. The Rothco Canvas Map Case Shoulder Bag combines a divided main compartment with a front pocket equipped with slots and elastic straps, giving everyday essentials a more organized home. Its heavyweight canvas construction and structured back make it a straightforward carry bag for everyday use, outdoor travel, and keeping smaller field essentials together.
Separate the larger items from the small essentials
The large main compartment includes a divider to help separate belongings such as a tablet, phone, and multitool. That separation is useful when you want to keep different types of gear apart without spreading everything across multiple bags. The front pocket adds another area for smaller items, with slots and elastic straps that help organize tools and pens instead of leaving them loose at the bottom.
For an airsoft outing, this layout can serve as a way to organize personal essentials, writing tools, and small equipment separately from your primary loadout. It also suits everyday carry or outdoor trips where you want a shoulder bag rather than a full backpack.
Canvas construction with a supported shape
Rothco uses heavyweight canvas that is naturally water-resistant. A hard board stiffener at the back adds structure and stability, helping support the bag's shape as you carry it. The flap fastens with two snap buttons, providing a simple closure over your belongings.
The detachable shoulder strap adjusts to a maximum length of 42 inches, allowing shoulder or cross-body carry. Consider that maximum length against your preferred carrying position, particularly if you plan to wear the bag across bulky field clothing. The detachable design also lets you remove the strap when it is not needed.
