Product Overview
A shoulder bag is easier to use when smaller supplies have a place of their own. The Rothco Canvas Paratrooper Messenger Bag combines divided interior storage with an outer snap compartment and individual loops for writing utensils or other small items. Its heavyweight cotton canvas construction and red parawing emblem give it a distinctive military-inspired appearance, while the layout suits commuting, work, travel, and carrying supplies to the airsoft field.
Separate Your Gear Without Adding Extra Pouches
Inside, a three-divider section helps keep your belongings from becoming one mixed pile. You can separate work materials from personal essentials or organize field-day supplies so they are easier to locate. The outer compartment closes with snaps and contains two rows of nine shell loops, giving you another way to organize smaller items rather than leaving them loose at the bottom of the bag.
The bag measures 15 x 11 x 4 inches, offering room for everyday supplies and many laptops. If you plan to use it as a laptop messenger bag, compare your device’s dimensions—and those of any protective sleeve you use—with the bag’s measurements before choosing it. Screen size alone is not a reliable guide to fit.
Heavyweight Canvas and a Clip-Fastened Flap
Rothco uses heavyweight, unwashed cotton canvas for a sturdy body suited to regular carrying. The canvas is naturally water-resistant, which is useful for everyday outdoor exposure. A large flap covers the opening and fastens with a metal clip, helping keep your belongings contained as you move between destinations.
The adjustable shoulder strap lets you change how high or low the bag sits, up to its maximum length of 41 inches. That maximum is worth considering if you prefer a longer strap or intend to wear the bag over bulky clothing. On the front, the red parawing symbol adds a recognizable detail without changing the bag’s straightforward, utility-focused layout.
