Product Overview
Keeping a handgun, spare magazines, and loose range supplies organized takes more than a single open compartment. The Rothco Canvas Tactical Shooting Range Bag combines a supported main storage area with separate zippered side compartments, giving you dedicated places for your firearm and magazines without mixing them into the rest of your kit.
Separate Space for Your Handgun and Magazines
A full-length zippered side compartment contains a padded gun pocket and six elastic magazine loops. The padding adds cushioning around your handgun, while the loops keep spare magazines individually organized rather than loose at the bottom of the bag. A second exterior zippered side pocket provides another six elastic loops for pistol magazines, letting you divide your magazine storage between two accessible compartments.
This layout is useful when packing for a shooting session or organizing an airsoft sidearm kit. You can keep magazines apart from other supplies and reach the appropriate compartment without searching through the main storage area. When choosing the bag for a particular handgun or airsoft pistol, consider its overall size and any fitted accessories when assessing pocket fit.
A Supported Main Compartment with Wide Access
The main compartment measures 12.25 x 6.5 x 8.5 inches, providing space for ammunition and other range essentials. A hard bottom insert supports the base, helping it retain structure under the contents. The double-zipper closure and hook-and-loop tab allow full access to the compartment, making packing and retrieving gear more straightforward.
Heavyweight cotton canvas gives the bag a rugged construction suited to carrying shooting equipment. The fabric is naturally water-resistant, and the two top carry handles have reinforced stitching to support the areas used each time you pick up a loaded bag. It is a straightforward hand-carried design for moving your organized kit to and from the range.
