Product Overview
Tools, boots, and field supplies often need usable space more than elaborate organization. The Rothco Canvas Tanker Style Tool Bag provides a roomy zippered main compartment in heavyweight cotton canvas, making it useful for carrying work equipment, packing airsoft field essentials, or keeping a change of clothes together for the gym.
The main compartment measures 19 inches x 9 inches x 6 inches. That gives you a helpful reference when deciding which tools or pieces of gear to pack, especially longer items that can be awkward in smaller bags. Its zippered opening keeps the contents contained during transport, while the generous compartment lets you arrange your load around what you actually need that day.
Heavyweight Canvas for Working Loads
Rothco uses unwashed heavyweight cotton canvas for this tanker-style bag. The material is suited to carrying heavy tools and equipment, with a rugged construction that makes sense for regular trips between home, a vehicle, and a work site. The canvas also has natural water resistance, a useful characteristic for a bag that may accompany you outdoors.
Dual carry handles provide a straightforward way to pick up and move the bag. Cross-hatched stitching reinforces their attachment points, where the weight of the contents puts strain on the handles. Canvas loops also allow you to attach a shoulder strap if you prefer another carrying method. The shoulder strap is sold separately.
From Work Tools to Weekend Gear
For mechanics, plumbers, and electricians, the spacious compartment offers a place to gather tools for the next job. For airsoft players, it can serve as a separate gear bag for boots, spare clothing, and field accessories rather than mixing those items into a pack. It also works for gym clothes or survival supplies when you need uncomplicated storage.
