Product Overview
Keeping your mouth and nose covered should not mean shutting out airflow or making it harder to speak to teammates. The Rothco Carbon Steel Half Face Mask uses an open mesh cage to shield the lower face from debris while leaving air a path through the mask. Intended for airsoft and similar outdoor activities, it combines lightweight carbon steel construction with an adjustable fit.
Lower-face coverage with room to breathe
The carbon steel mesh forms a barrier around your mouth and nose without enclosing them behind a solid panel. That open construction allows ventilation during active play and helps keep speech clear when calling positions or coordinating movement with your team. It is a useful distinction for players who want lower-face coverage without the muffled communication that can come with a more enclosed design.
The mask's contoured shape follows the face rather than sitting as a flat cage across it. This helps make the coverage more comfortable for longer sessions, while the lightweight construction keeps the mask from adding unnecessary bulk to your face.
Adjust the fit around your eye protection
Elastic straps let you adjust how securely the mask sits against your face. The one-size-fits-most design accommodates a range of head sizes, with strap adjustment helping you find a snug fit for field movement.
Rothco designed this half-face mask to be worn with tactical goggles. The two pieces serve different purposes: the mask covers the lower face, while goggles provide eye coverage. When putting together your airsoft loadout, consider how both pieces sit together so that your chosen combination feels comfortable and keeps each component properly positioned.
