Switch between two-strap backpack carry and a single sling without changing bags. The Rothco Convertible Medium Transport Pack gives you both arrangements in a 25L tactical pack, with an ambidextrous sling setup that can be worn over either shoulder or across your body. It is especially useful when you want backpack carry for part of the day and easier access to your gear at other times.
Change the Carry, Keep Your Gear Organized
To convert the pack, zip the two 2-inch shoulder straps together and release the buckle on one side. Spare webbing can be tucked into a zippered pocket rather than left hanging loose. In sling mode, you can reach your belongings without setting the bag down—a useful feature at an airsoft staging area, during a trail stop, or while commuting on public transportation.
Adjustable shoulder straps let you refine the fit, while breathable mesh padding cushions the straps and back panel. A top grab handle gives you another way to pick up and move the pack when you are loading equipment or making a short carry.
Separate Larger Supplies from Smaller Essentials
The main rear compartment provides space for items such as spare clothing, outdoor supplies, or everyday carry gear. Inside, a zippered pouch and mesh pocket help separate smaller belongings from the main load. Three additional zippered compartments have internal pockets, giving you more places to organize electronic accessories and other small essentials instead of collecting everything at the bottom of one compartment.
Exterior PALS webbing accepts MOLLE-compatible attachments, allowing you to add pouches or secure additional equipment outside the pack. A separate rear compartment with a hook-and-loop closure accommodates a hydration system, keeping that option available for airsoft days or hikes. A hydration system is not included.

The pack combines 600D polyester with polypropylene webbing. Heavy-duty compartment zippers suit repeated access, and water-repellent lining adds a measure of moisture resistance inside the storage areas.
