Rather than putting everything into one general-purpose pouch, this rig separates equipment by function. A snap-closure handcuff case provides dedicated storage, while the radio pouch uses a snap closure to retain your radio. The key holder combines snap and hook-and-loop closures in a design intended to keep key carry quiet. Belt security and modular construction
The belt uses a triple-retention buckle, with snap-button belt keepers for attachment to an inner duty belt. These serve different purposes: the buckle fastens the rig around your waist, while the keepers help hold the duty belt in position against the inner belt. That arrangement is useful when carrying several pieces of equipment around your waist.
Ballistic material and denier polyester provide the rig's durable construction. Here, ballistic refers to the material used for the belt system and pouches, not a protective rating.
