Product Overview
Keeping essential items close at hand matters when your work takes you into an emergency scene. The Rothco EMS Rescue Vest combines reflective detailing with accessible storage, giving EMS professionals and first responders a way to carry equipment and display identification in one adjustable outer layer.
Reflective detailing across the vest
Grey reflective tape measuring 2 inches wide is positioned on both the upper and lower portions of the vest. These reflective areas help increase visibility in low-light conditions, an important consideration for emergency personnel working outdoors or in dim surroundings. The detailing is paired with a durable 100% oxford polyester construction suited to the demands of outdoor use.
Separate storage for equipment and identification
Two large zippered cargo pockets provide room for equipment and other essentials. Their zippered closures help keep pocket contents contained while you move, rather than leaving them in open compartments. Breast pockets add another storage location, allowing you to separate smaller essentials from the items carried in the larger cargo pockets.
ID holders give identification a dedicated place on the vest. For personnel carrying both work essentials and credentials, this arrangement helps keep those items organized without treating every pocket as a single catch-all space.
Adjustable for on-the-job wear
The fully adjustable design lets you tailor the fit for comfortable, secure wear during rescue operations. Fit adjustment is particularly useful for a working vest: it allows you to position the garment comfortably while keeping its pockets within reach. When choosing your fit, consider the clothing you intend to wear beneath it as well as access to the items you plan to carry.
This EMS vest focuses on three useful needs for emergency work: low-light visibility, organized storage, and an adjustable fit. It is intended for emergency professionals and first responders who need those features together in a durable outer garment.
