Product Overview
Cold-weather tasks often call for both covered hands and exposed fingertips. Rothco Fingerless Gloves / Mittens let you switch between the two with a retractable mitten top, so you can uncover your fingers for detailed work and cover them again when warmth takes priority. It’s a useful arrangement for outdoor days that involve frequent stops to handle equipment.
Finger access without changing gloves
The convertible design keeps the fingerless glove portion in place while you move the mitten top out of the way. For airsoft players, that means access to exposed fingertips when adjusting equipment or sorting small items between games. Hikers and outdoor workers can use the same feature when handling pack closures or completing tasks that are awkward with covered fingers.
When those tasks are finished, returning the top to its mitten position adds coverage over the fingers. Rather than choosing one glove style for the entire outing, you can change the coverage as your activity changes.
Windproof construction with a fleece shell
A breathable polyester fleece shell provides warmth, while the windproof construction helps shield your hands from chilly moving air. These features are especially relevant during outdoor downtime, when you may be standing around rather than staying continuously active. In fingerless mode, your fingertips remain exposed, so the mitten top is the better configuration when full finger coverage matters.
At the wrist, elastic and a locking cinch cord let you snug the opening to help limit cold air entering. A hook-and-loop closure on the back provides another point of fit adjustment, helping you secure the gloves comfortably.
