Product Overview
A handcuff key needs to be easy to hold as well as easy to keep track of. The Rothco Flat Knurled Swivel Handcuff Key addresses both with a textured, flat body and an attached split ring. Intended for law enforcement and public safety personnel, it works with most standard handcuffs.
The knurled surface gives your fingers more purchase than a smooth finish, helping you maintain your grip while positioning and turning the key. Its flat body provides a defined surface to hold, while the swivel design supports smooth operation. These are useful handling details on a small tool that may need to be accessed quickly.
Steel construction gives the key strength for repeated use as part of a duty setup. The attached split ring provides a straightforward way to secure it to your gear or add it to a key ring, so you can choose a consistent carrying location rather than leave it loose in a pocket.
For purchasing purposes, compatibility is with most standard handcuffs, rather than every cuff design. Check the key requirements of the handcuffs you intend to use it with when selecting a primary or spare key.
