Product Overview
Keeping rifle-cleaning tools together makes routine maintenance easier to organize, at home or away from the workbench. The Rothco G.I. Plus Rifle Cleaning Kit brings bore and chamber cleaning tools, a sectional rod, and a refillable oil bottle into one compact carry pouch. Intended for .223 and 5.56 caliber firearms, it gives owners of rifles in those calibers a focused set of maintenance supplies without the bulk of a larger cleaning kit.
Tools for the Bore and Chamber
The included bore brush and chamber brush address two distinct areas of the firearm. A bore brush is used to clean inside the barrel, while a chamber brush is intended for the area where the cartridge sits. Having both keeps these separate cleaning tasks covered rather than relying on a single brush. The five-piece rod assembly breaks down for storage, making it easier to carry alongside the other tools.
- Bore brush and chamber brush
- Five-piece cleaning rod assembly
- Refillable oil bottle; gun oil is not included
- Durable polyester, MOLLE-compatible belt pouch
Pack It with Your Range Gear
The belt pouch keeps the kit together and offers MOLLE compatibility for organizing it with your equipment. Its compact format is useful when you want cleaning supplies close at hand without bringing your full maintenance setup. The refillable bottle also lets you carry your preferred gun oil in the kit rather than choosing a kit around an included lubricant.
Before purchasing, match the kit's .223/5.56 caliber designation to your firearm, and plan to supply your own gun oil.
