Product Overview
Keeping drinking water within reach is easier when your canteen has its own place on your gear. The Rothco G.I. Style Canteen Cover accommodates Rothco’s 1 QT canteens and attaches to ALICE packs and belts using keeper clips on the back. It’s a straightforward way to carry a canteen for airsoft games, hiking, or time around camp without using space inside your pack.
Two snap closures secure the canteen in the cover while you move. This gives you dedicated water storage on your equipment rather than leaving the canteen loose among other supplies. The rugged construction suits outdoor use, while the fleece-lined interior adds insulation to help maintain the temperature of the contents. That lining is useful for a water-carrying setup that spends much of the day outdoors.
A Separate Pocket for Purification Tablets
A small side pocket provides a designated place for water purification tablets. Keeping them alongside your canteen makes your water-related supplies easier to organize and saves you from searching through a larger pack compartment when you need them. For hiking and camping kits, it’s a useful detail that keeps two related pieces of equipment together.
Fit and Attachment Details
- Canteen fit: Accommodates Rothco 1 QT canteens.
- Mounting system: Rear ALICE keeper clips for attachment to ALICE packs and belts.
- Purchase contents: Canteen cover only; canteen not included.
For an airsoft loadout, consider where the cover will sit alongside your other belt-mounted equipment so your drinking water remains convenient to reach. If you’re adding it to an existing outdoor kit, match the documented canteen fit and ALICE attachment system to the equipment you already use.
