Product Overview
A roomy central compartment and three separate exterior pockets give the Rothco G.I. Type Medium Alice Pack a straightforward way to divide your field gear. This classic-style tactical rucksack measures 20 x 19 x 11 inches and comes in with-frame and without-frame configurations, letting you choose the setup that suits your carrying needs.
Keep bulky gear separate from frequently used items
The main compartment gives you space for larger essentials, such as spare clothing and camping supplies, without having to spread everything across smaller pockets. Three large, vented outside pockets provide separate places for items you want to retrieve without searching through the main load. For an airsoft field day, that layout lets you keep extra clothing in the main compartment while reserving the outer pockets for smaller field accessories.
Accessory loops add another way to carry gear outside the pack. They are useful when you want an item within reach or prefer not to take up internal storage space. For hiking, camping, or travel, the combination of internal storage, exterior pockets, and attachment loops gives you several ways to organize your load.
Choose your frame configuration
The with-frame option adds a heavy-duty aluminum frame for structural support and stability. The frame is designed to fit G.I. LC-1 packs and features a polyester padded kidney pad and padded shoulder straps, providing cushioning at the carrying contact points. If you do not need the frame, select the without-frame version.
Adjustable shoulder straps allow you to tailor the fit rather than work around a fixed strap length. When choosing between configurations, consider how you plan to carry the pack and whether you want the added structure and cushioning of the frame-equipped setup.
Materials and dimensions at a glance
- Outer construction: Denier polyester.
- Interior protection: Waterproof lining helps shield packed contents from moisture.
- Overall dimensions: 20 x 19 x 11 inches.
The polyester construction suits a pack intended for outdoor and tactical use, while the waterproof lining adds a protective layer inside. Check the overall dimensions against your usual load before choosing: the Medium designation is the model name, and the measurements are the more useful guide to how much space the pack will occupy.
