Product Overview
An extra layer of warmth can make a welcome difference when you settle down at camp or take a break between airsoft games. The Rothco G.I. Type Poncho Liner, commonly called a woobie, adds insulation to a poncho and doubles as a blanket for downtime outdoors. Its 62 x 82-inch dimensions give you room to wrap up without dedicating your pack space to a single-purpose item.
Attach it to your poncho or use it on its own
Corner tie strings let you fasten the liner to your poncho, keeping the two pieces connected rather than managing separate layers. That makes it useful when you want additional warmth from your poncho setup. At the campsite, you can use the liner independently as a blanket or wrap it around yourself for sleeping.
For airsoft players attending longer events, a poncho liner is useful during the quieter parts of the day: sitting at the staging area, resting between games, or settling into camp. Hikers and campers can put the same multipurpose design to work as an extra insulating layer during stops or overnight stays.
Rip-stop fabric in a pack-friendly format
The liner is made from 100% rip-stop polyester. Rip-stop fabric uses a reinforcing pattern to help limit the spread of small tears, a useful characteristic for equipment that gets packed, unpacked, and handled outdoors. The fabric also provides a comfortable layer for blanket use.
Its lightweight, compact design makes the Rothco poncho liner worth considering for a camping pack or bug-out bag, especially when you want one item to handle several warmth-related tasks. Choose it as an additional insulation layer for your outdoor kit rather than relying on a weather-specific temperature rating.
