Product Overview
A belt-mounted loadout doesn't have to leave all the weight at your waist. The Rothco GI Type Y Style LC-1 Suspenders provide shoulder support for your field equipment, using a Y-shaped harness that connects to an equipment belt and butt pack. It's a straightforward way to support an ALICE-style setup for airsoft games and other field activities.
Shoulder support for your ALICE loadout
These LC-1 suspenders serve as a load-bearing harness for All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment (ALICE). By connecting the equipment carried around your waist to the shoulder straps, the harness helps share the load between your shoulders and belt rather than relying on the belt alone. That makes the design especially relevant to players putting together a belt-based airsoft loadout.
The shoulder straps adjust in length, giving you a way to position the harness around your clothing and equipment. Taking time to adjust them helps establish a comfortable, secure fit, rather than leaving the straps too loose or pulling the belt higher than intended. The Y-shaped back brings the straps together at the rear.
Clip-on connections and lightweight construction
Metal clips provide the attachment points for an equipment belt and butt pack. When planning your setup, look at where those clips will connect to your existing gear; the attachment arrangement matters more than simply matching the military styling. These are equipment-support suspenders, so choose them for their role in a load-bearing system rather than as an ordinary clothing accessory.
Rothco uses strong, lightweight polyester for the harness, keeping the suspenders themselves from adding unnecessary weight to the equipment they support. The construction suits a field setup where you want reliable support without a bulky harness.
