Product Overview
Rainwear is especially useful when it helps you remain noticeable as well as covered. The Rothco Hooded Reflective Rain Parka combines a removable hood and storm/snap front with broad reflective striping across the body and sleeves. For outdoor work, wet-weather commuting, or other activities in dim conditions, its design brings rain coverage and visibility features together in one outer layer.
Reflective Coverage Across the Body and Sleeves
The parka uses 2-inch reflective strips around the chest, biceps, harness area, lower waist, and cuffs, with additional striping over the shoulders. Rather than concentrating the reflective material in a single spot, this layout distributes it across several areas of the jacket. Reflective material returns light toward its source, making these details useful when illuminated in low-light surroundings.
Weather Coverage with a Removable Hood
The front combines a plastic zipper with a five-button design and storm/snap coverage. That additional front coverage helps shield the opening from rain, rather than leaving the zipper exposed on its own. The removable hood gives you a straightforward way to change the jacket's configuration: keep it attached when you want head coverage, or take it off when it is not needed.
For customers who spend time outside in changing weather, these are useful details to consider together. The hood handles coverage above the collar, while the storm front addresses the jacket's central opening.
Access and Identification Details
A pass-through pocket accommodates access for audio devices, adding convenience when you need to reach your equipment while wearing the parka. A separate badge tab provides a designated place for identification—a helpful feature for work settings where an ID needs to be displayed.
