Product Overview
Getting to gear buried at the bottom of a backpack is easier when the main compartment opens along the length of the bag. The Rothco Large Camo Transport Pack uses that extended zipper layout to make packing and retrieving equipment less awkward. With approximately 19 x 15 x 8 inches of overall space, separate zippered storage areas, and MOLLE compatibility, this tactical backpack gives you room to organize an airsoft field kit or supplies for hiking and camping.
Access your kit without unpacking everything
Heavy-duty zippers secure the compartments, while the main compartment’s extended opening helps you reach items that would otherwise sit beneath the rest of your load. An interior mesh zippered pocket provides a separate place for smaller essentials, so they do not have to share the main storage area with larger equipment.
A front zippered compartment and an exterior zippered pouch give you additional ways to divide your kit. For an airsoft outing, that separation can be useful for keeping field accessories apart from spare clothing and other bulky supplies. External MOLLE attachment points also let you add compatible pouches when you want certain items outside the main bag rather than packed inside.
Adjust the carry to suit your load
The padded shoulder straps are adjustable and include quick-release buckles for releasing the straps when removing the pack. A removable waist belt helps distribute the load and stabilize the bag during movement, while the padded mesh back provides cushioning and ventilation where the pack rests against you.
Adjustable web straps at the top and sides feature quick-release buckles, and a cinch strap provides another way to tighten the pack around its contents. These adjustments are useful when your load changes throughout the day. A drag handle gives you a separate handhold for moving the bag without using the shoulder straps.
Hydration provision and fabric details
An internal hydration-bladder-compatible pouch lets you incorporate a water reservoir into your packing arrangement. The hydration bladder is not included, so plan to supply one separately if you want to use that feature.
The lining and pockets have a water-repellent coating to help resist moisture. That is useful protection for outdoor use, though water repellency is not the same as waterproof construction.
- Approximate dimensions: 19 x 15 x 8 inches.
- Standard camo versions: Heavy-weight polyester construction.
- MultiCam version: 1000D Cordura nylon construction.
When choosing your camouflage, note that MultiCam differs in fabric as well as pattern. Choose the pattern to suit your loadout or surroundings, and use the pack’s separate storage areas to keep frequently needed equipment within easier reach.
