White and Red Lighting in One Headlamp
The five-bulb layout includes a 3-watt Cree center white light, two side white lights, and two side red lights. A three-stage push button controls the lighting options, giving you a straightforward way to change illumination as your surroundings or tasks change. Having both white and red lights in the same unit also means you do not need to carry separate lamps just to have both lighting colors available.
The lamp body can be tilted to change the direction of the light. That adjustment is useful when moving between looking along a trail and working on something closer, such as a pack buckle or equipment laid out at camp. You can redirect the lamp without changing how the strap sits on your head.
