Product Overview
Rainwear shouldn’t make it harder for people to recognize the staff they need. The Rothco Lightweight Security Poncho keeps your role visible with bold white “Security” lettering on both the front and back, set against black vinyl. It gives security personnel an additional layer of rain coverage without covering up their identification during outdoor patrols, event duties, or entrance monitoring.
The water-resistant vinyl features heat-sealed construction to help keep rain out. Along the sides, snap closures let you secure the poncho rather than leave its edges completely open. Closing those snaps helps limit gaps where water can enter, providing added coverage for you and the belongings beneath it. This is a straightforward rainwear design for duties that continue when the weather turns wet.
Coverage that packs away between shifts
Measuring 50 × 80 inches, the poncho offers generous coverage in a lightweight format. Those dimensions are useful to consider when deciding how much coverage you need over your work clothing. The poncho format suits security duties where having an extra rain layer available matters more than wearing a rain jacket throughout the day.
An included compact carrying pouch gives the poncho a place to stay when it isn’t needed. Keep it with your duty equipment so it’s available for a change in weather, then return it to the pouch for storage between uses. For staff moving between indoor posts and outdoor assignments, that pack-away convenience is especially useful.
