Product Overview
Emergency warmth does not have to add much weight to your pack. The Rothco Lightweight Survival Blanket weighs just 1.9 ounces and uses metalized polyester to reflect 90% of body heat. It gives you a compact heat-retention layer to carry alongside your hiking supplies, campsite gear, or vehicle emergency equipment.
Rather than relying on the bulk of a conventional blanket, the reflective material helps retain warmth your body already produces. That makes it useful to have available when an unexpected delay or change in conditions leaves you needing extra coverage. For camping trips or longer days at an airsoft field, it belongs with your emergency supplies rather than your regular sleeping gear.
Full-size coverage, minimal carrying weight
The blanket measures 52 x 84 inches, providing a generous area to wrap around yourself while remaining light enough to include in a daypack or bug out bag. Its compact format also makes it convenient to keep in a car emergency pack, so your backup blanket is available away from home without taking up the space of a bulky fabric blanket.
An O.D. coating gives the blanket an olive drab finish and is made to resist flaking. This is a useful detail for an outdoor emergency item that may spend time packed with other equipment before it is needed.
