A canteen takes up valuable space inside a pack, especially when you need to reach it throughout the day. The Rothco MOLLE II Canteen & Utility Pouch gives a 1-quart canteen its own attachment point on compatible MOLLE gear, with two additional pockets for the small items that are easy to lose among larger equipment.
A dedicated place for your canteen
The main compartment uses an adjustable drawstring closure and a Y-shaped retention strap to hold the canteen in place. The canteen nozzle sits between the strap’s webbing, allowing the strap to secure the container around its neck. A quick-release buckle lets you open the retention strap when it is time for a drink, then fasten it again before moving on.
A drain grommet at the bottom gives water a way out of the pouch rather than leaving it to collect inside. That is a useful detail for equipment carried outdoors, where rain and splashes can find their way into storage compartments.
Keep water and small supplies together
Two hook-and-loop utility pockets provide separate storage for compact supplies such as purification tablets, matches, or fishing line. Keeping these items outside the main compartment means you can organize them separately from the canteen instead of searching through a larger pack pocket.
Dual MOLLE attachment straps let you mount the pouch on a compatible backpack, vest, or other MOLLE-equipped platform. For an airsoft loadout, that allows you to choose a position that works around your existing equipment. On a hiking or camping pack, it provides a dedicated location for your canteen without using the main storage compartment.
