Product Overview

Carry rifle and pistol magazines together without arranging six separate pouches across your gear. The Rothco MOLLE Triple Kangaroo Rifle and Pistol Mag Pouch combines three rifle magazine compartments with three additional pistol magazine pockets in one MOLLE-mounted unit. It gives you a dedicated place for each magazine type while keeping your reloads grouped in a single section of your loadout.

Different retention for rifle and pistol magazines

The rifle compartments use an open-top design with elastic retention cords. Each cord has an easy-grip pull tab, giving you a defined point to grasp when moving the retention out of the way for a reload. This arrangement keeps the rifle magazines accessible without a flap covering each opening.

The pistol pockets use hook-and-loop closures instead. You can organize three spare pistol magazines alongside your rifle magazines, with separate closures for the smaller pockets. For players carrying both a primary airsoft rifle and a sidearm, that layout can make it easier to establish consistent locations for each type of reload.

Plan the mounting space and magazine fit

Six MOLLE straps on the back attach the pouch to compatible equipment. Mount it on a tactical vest, battle belt, or assault pack according to where you want to carry your magazines. A vest or belt position keeps them on your worn equipment, while a pack mounting position can suit spare-magazine storage. Before choosing a location, check that your gear has enough usable MOLLE space for the pouch’s footprint.

  • Overall dimensions: 10 x 6.75 x 2 inches.
  • Rifle magazine fit: Designed for most popular rifle magazines, including AK-47 and M-16 types.
  • Pistol magazine fit: Accommodates most standard-sized pistol magazines, including 9mm and .40-caliber types.

Magazine fit is an important consideration when adapting this pouch to an airsoft loadout. Use the listed magazine types as a starting point and check your particular magazines rather than assuming every replica magazine shares the same shape. The combined layout is especially useful when you want rifle and sidearm magazine storage together instead of selecting and positioning individual pouches.
