Product Overview
Getting into a prone position is easier on your elbows when there is cushioning between you and the ground. Rothco Multi-purpose SWAT Elbow Pads combine foam padding with non-slip rubber caps, giving you a cushioned contact point for airsoft field play, tactical training, outdoor sports, and work tasks that put pressure on your elbows.
Cushioning and Grip Serve Different Purposes
The 1/2-inch foam padding helps soften contact and reduce discomfort when you rest your weight on your elbows. That can be useful during an airsoft game when you settle behind low cover or support yourself in a prone position. Rather than relying on fabric alone, the pads provide a dedicated cushioning layer over this frequently exposed area.
The rubber caps address another part of ground contact: grip. Their non-slip surface helps your elbows maintain purchase while you brace against a surface. Padding provides the cushioning, while the caps help keep the contact point stable—two useful features when you need to hold a position rather than continually readjust your arms.
Adjust the Fit Around Your Clothing
A dual hook-and-loop fastening system lets you adjust how securely each pad sits around your elbow. This gives you control over the fit when putting them on with your field clothing. Before heading into play, bend and straighten your arms, then adjust the fastenings as needed for a snug, comfortable fit.
The exterior uses 900 Denier polyester, a tough fabric suited to the repeated surface contact that elbow pads encounter. Paired with the foam and rubber caps, it makes these pads useful beyond an airsoft loadout: tactical drills, outdoor activities, and work involving elbow contact all benefit from the same combination of cushioning, grip, and adjustable fastening. Choose them for tasks where supporting or bracing on your elbows is a regular part of the activity.
