Product Overview
A keychain can carry more than your keys. The Rothco Paracord Keychain keeps a small supply of cord in a compact accessory you can attach to a belt loop or bag loop. Disassemble it when you need cord, and you have 4.5 feet of paracord available for securing objects during camping, hiking, or other outdoor activities.
For everyday use, the metal clasp holds keys, a pocket knife, or other add-on items. Attaching the keychain to a loop gives those items a convenient place to ride rather than leaving them loose in a pocket or bag. It also keeps your backup cord with something you already carry, which is useful when you want a little extra outdoor utility without packing a separate length of cord.
From Key Carrier to Usable Cord
The paracord becomes available by taking the keychain apart, so using it means changing it from an assembled key carrier into a length of cord. That makes it useful for an unexpected securing task or an emergency situation where a short piece of cord could help. For airsoft players, it can ride on a gear bag as a small field accessory; for campers and hikers, it provides cord for tying or securing objects around camp or along the trail.
