A uniform jacket does not always need to look the same throughout a shift. The Rothco Reversible Hi-Visibility Uniform Jacket gives you a high-visibility side for duties where being noticed matters and an all-black side for a more understated uniform appearance. Both sides include badge tabs, so reversing the jacket does not mean giving up a dedicated place for identification.
Visibility when the job calls for it
Reflective striping runs around the waist, chest, and arms to help make the wearer more noticeable in low-light conditions. That makes the hi-vis side useful for traffic direction, outdoor emergency response, and other public safety work where personnel need to stand out from their surroundings. Law enforcement officers, security staff, and emergency responders can switch to the black side when a conventional uniform look better suits the assignment.
The black side also features epaulets, adding a familiar uniform detail rather than the appearance of a standard casual rain jacket. With badge attachment available on either side, the design keeps identification part of the jacket's layout in both configurations.
Rain protection with accessible storage
The breathable 320D Taslon nylon shell combines with waterproof, seam-sealed construction to help keep rain out. Sealing the seams addresses the stitched areas where moisture could otherwise enter, while the breathable fabric allows moisture vapor to escape during wear. These features are particularly useful for shifts that involve spending time outdoors in wet weather.
Side zippers provide access to inside pockets, and the black side has large lower pockets for carrying essential gear and equipment. The distinction is worth keeping in mind when planning how to organize the items you need during a shift: the large exterior storage pockets are on the black side.
