The Rothco Tactical Extraction Pants incorporate internal elastic straps into their low-profile cargo pockets, giving you a way to organize magazines while keeping additional storage in your clothing. Combined with stretch ripstop fabric and a gusseted crotch, these tactical pants suit airsoft and MilSim loadouts as well as active work and everyday carry.
Six pockets with different jobs
The two cargo pockets include two internal elastic straps for securing magazines. That added organization is useful when you want to carry magazines in a pocket rather than leave them loose among other equipment. The low-profile pocket design also keeps the emphasis on accessible storage without the pronounced appearance of traditional cargo pockets.
Two front slash pockets provide straightforward access to frequently used essentials. At the back, two flap pockets use hook-and-loop closures, giving you covered storage for items you do not need to reach as often. The six-pocket layout lets you separate everyday items from field equipment instead of putting everything into the same compartment.
Stretch fabric for crouching, kneeling, and moving
Rothco uses a lightweight ripstop blend of 55% cotton, 42% polyester, and 3% spandex. The ripstop construction helps resist the spread of small tears, while the spandex adds flexibility. For airsoft players, that stretch is useful during the repeated changes in position that come with moving between cover, crouching, and kneeling.
A gusseted crotch adds room through an area that can otherwise feel restrictive when taking a long step or dropping into a lower stance. Together, the gusset and stretch fabric make movement a central part of the design, rather than treating these as ordinary cargo pants with extra pockets.
Waistband and belt details
The self-adjusting comfort waistband allows some give as you move. Two wide front belt loops help support the weight of belt-mounted tactical equipment, and the pants accommodate belts up to 2 1/8 inches wide. If you already have a preferred duty or tactical belt, compare its width with that measurement before choosing your setup.
