A helmet’s interior padding plays an important part in how it feels during a long day on the field. The Rothco Tactical Helmet Replacement Pad Set lets you replace existing padding or adjust your helmet’s interior arrangement with seven EVA foam pads in three different shapes. Intended for most tactical helmets, the set provides cushioning along with attachment pieces for installation.
Seven pads for a more comfortable interior
Each pad is 0.75 inch thick, giving you a cushioned layer between your head and the helmet shell. The EVA foam absorbs shock and provides support for extended wear, making this set useful for refreshing a tactical helmet used during airsoft games or other field activities.
The combination of oblong, trapezoid, and crown pads allows you to arrange padding in different areas of the helmet rather than relying on one continuous liner. A round crown pad covers the top area, while the smaller shapes give you options for arranging the remaining padding. Each pad is stamped with its specifications, helping you identify the pieces as you plan their placement.
What comes in the set
- Four oblong pads: 3.5 inches x 2 inches each.
- Two trapezoid pads: one measuring 3.25 inches x 3.5 inches and one measuring 3 inches x 3.5 inches.
- One crown pad: 5 inches in diameter.
- Eight adhesive-backed hook pieces: 1.88 inches, supplied for attaching the pads inside the helmet.
The included hook pieces provide an attachment method without requiring you to source them separately. Before choosing this replacement set, compare the pad dimensions and thickness with your helmet’s interior and current padding. Although it is designed for most tactical helmets, the available interior space matters: replacing thinner pads with 0.75-inch pads can change how snugly the helmet fits.
