Product Overview
A shotgun carrier should give you useful carrying options without adding unnecessary complexity to your setup. The Rothco Tactical MOLLE Shotgun Scabbard combines a padded gun sleeve with an adjustable shoulder strap and extensive MOLLE attachment points, making it suitable for range trips, field use, and airsoft loadouts.
Carry It Separately or Integrate It with Your Gear
The removable shoulder strap adjusts to suit your preferred carrying position. Use it when you want to carry the scabbard independently, or remove it when arranging a different setup. Two D-rings provide attachment points, while four movable MOLLE straps let you adjust the attachment arrangement rather than work around fixed strap positions.
With 14 rows of MOLLE webbing on each side, the scabbard also offers space for attaching compatible tactical accessories. That gives you room to organize supporting gear around the carrier, which can be useful when planning an airsoft shotgun loadout or preparing equipment for a day at the range.
Padding and Adjustable Retention
A half-inch layer of padding surrounds the scabbard, adding cushioning between your shotgun and the surfaces it may contact during transport. This helps guard against incidental bumps and scratches when carrying or setting down your gear.
The adjustable retention strap holds the shotgun at the grip to help limit movement while you carry it. Adjustability lets you tailor the strap to the gun's fit, and the strap can be removed when it is not needed for your setup.
- Scabbard length: 29.5 inches.
- Opening: 6 inches.
- Drainage: Two grommet holes allow water that enters the scabbard to drain out.
Before choosing this shotgun scabbard, compare its length and opening with your shotgun's dimensions, including any fitted accessories. For airsoft use, make the same comparison with your replica rather than relying on its model name alone. The scabbard accommodates a range of shotgun sizes, but checking the dimensions helps you select a carrier that suits your particular setup.
