Product Overview
Keep a team patch up front and a name tape at the back without giving up the familiar shape of a everyday cap. The Rothco Tactical Operator Cap adds three purpose-specific loop fields to a sun-shading hat, giving you room to personalize your headwear for airsoft games, field activities, or casual wear.
Three Places to Set Up Your Patches
The patch layout keeps different attachments in distinct positions rather than crowding them onto a single panel. Use the front loop field for a flag or morale patch, the rear field for a name tape, and the top field to attach an IR marker. For an airsoft loadout, that means you can display a team identity at the front while keeping your name visible from behind.
Loop fields accept matching hook-backed attachments, so you can change your patch setup when your team, event, or preference changes. If you plan to customize the cap, choose attachments intended for this type of fastening.
Breathable Fabric with a MultiCam Difference
Most versions use a breathable 55% cotton and 45% polyester blend. The MultiCam version has a different construction: 65% polyester and 35% cotton rip-stop. That material distinction is worth noting when choosing a pattern, since MultiCam is not simply a different print on the standard fabric.
Four reinforced vents across the top provide openings for air to circulate around your head. Along with the breathable fabric, they make ventilation part of the cap's design—a useful feature during outdoor games, walks, or time spent working outside.
- Adjustment: Rear hook-and-loop strap lets you fine-tune the fit.
- Sizing: One size fits most.
- Headwear style: Tactical operator cap with a brim to help shade your eyes from the sun.
The adjustable closure lets you loosen or tighten the cap rather than relying on a fixed size. Choose a color or camouflage pattern that works with your existing clothing and equipment, then use the loop fields to give it your own identity.
