Product Overview
Treat the clothing and gear you take outdoors rather than applying repellent to your skin. Ben's Clothing And Gear Insect Repellent 24oz, offered by Rothco, uses a 0.5% permethrin formula that attaches to fabric fibers, repelling insects and killing them on contact. The treatment lasts up to six weeks, making it useful for clothing and gear used across multiple outdoor outings.
Insect treatment for your outdoor kit
For camping trips, hikes, fishing, hunting, or outdoor airsoft games, insect repellent deserves a place alongside the rest of your field essentials. This formula is intended for clothing and gear, so the treatment goes on the items you wear or carry—not directly on your body. Its ability to bond to fabric fibers is what gives it a longer treatment period than a product intended only for immediate use.
The 24oz plastic spray bottle provides a straightforward way to apply the formula, while an ergonomic grip makes the container easier to hold during application. If you are choosing a repellent for your outdoor kit, the important distinction is its intended use: this is a fabric and equipment treatment, not a skin-applied insect repellent.
