A shovel is useful at camp, but a full-length handle can be awkward to pack. The Rothco Deluxe Tri-Fold Shovel folds into three sections, giving you a compact tool for a gear bag, vehicle, or equipment box. Heavy-duty steel construction makes it suited to demanding digging tasks, while an adjustable head lets you change how you work with the blade.
Two Head Positions for Different Tasks
The head locks at 90 or 180 degrees. Use the angled position to scoop loose material, or set the blade in line with the handle for digging into the ground. That choice is useful when moving between gathering displaced soil and breaking into a patch of earth: you can adjust the tool rather than work around a single fixed position.
A D-style handle gives your hand a defined grip for guiding the shovel and controlling the blade during digging. Along one side of the blade, a serrated edge adds a cutting surface for working through tough dirt, roots, and debris. It complements the shovel's digging function when the ground contains more than loose soil.
Pack It for Camp or Keep It with Your Outdoor Tools
The folding design makes this camping shovel easier to organize with equipment you carry or keep ready for occasional use.
