Secure attachment with additional front coverage
The hook-and-loop straps let you fasten the cover in place and release it when needed. A separate front flap also closes with hook and loop, adding coverage at the front and helping maintain a stable fit. Together, these features hold the cover in position rather than leaving it loosely draped over the helmet shell.
Rip-stop fabric suited to field use
Rothco uses a cotton and polyester rip-stop blend for this cover. Rip-stop fabric incorporates a reinforcing grid that helps limit the spread of small tears—a useful characteristic for fabric worn on the outside of a helmet during field movement.
The fabric composition depends on the camouflage pattern, so check the selected version if you have a material preference:
- ACU Digital Camo fabric: 55% cotton and 45% polyester rip-stop.
- MultiCam fabric: 65% polyester and 35% cotton rip-stop.
