Product Overview
Keeping a canteen on your belt leaves your hands free and avoids having to open a pack whenever you want a drink. The Rothco G.I. Type Enhanced Nylon 1qt. Canteen Cover provides a dedicated carrier for a standard 1-quart canteen, with rear ALICE attachment clips and a separate front pouch for water purification tablets.
Carry water alongside your field gear
Two ALICE keeper clips on the back attach the cover to an ALICE pack or tactical belt. For an airsoft loadout, belt mounting gives your canteen its own place alongside the rest of your equipment. On a hike or camping trip, the same attachment system lets you carry it externally rather than using space inside your pack.
The cover is sized for a standard 1-quart canteen, so choose it around that container type rather than treating it as a general-purpose bottle pouch. It is a useful addition to an existing canteen setup, particularly if you already use ALICE equipment or want a belt-mounted water carrier.
A separate pocket for purification tablets
The small front pouch closes with hook-and-loop fastening and provides a designated spot for water purification tablets. Keeping them with the canteen makes them easier to locate than if they were mixed in with other small supplies. It also keeps the tablets separate from the main canteen compartment.
Durable, water-resistant nylon forms the cover, while a drainage grommet at the bottom gives collected water a way to escape. Those features suit a carrier used around wet ground, campsite water points, and outdoor conditions where incidental moisture is part of the day.
