Product Overview
Cooking and serving a meal outdoors calls for more than a plate. The Rothco GI Type Stainless Steel Mess Kit brings a fry pan and a two-compartment plate together in a compact cookware kit, giving you equipment for both preparing food and eating it without packing a larger collection of camp kitchen items.
A Fry Pan and Divided Plate for Camp Meals
The fry pan provides a cooking surface for campsite meal preparation, while the separate plate gives you somewhere to serve your food. Its two compartments are useful for keeping parts of a meal apart—for example, a main dish on one side and a side dish on the other. It is a straightforward arrangement for campers who want their cooking and serving gear in one kit.
The compact design is easy to accommodate in a backpack or rucksack, making this mess kit suitable for backpacking trips, camping weekends, and outdoor preparedness supplies. For an overnight airsoft event with a campsite, it also gives you dedicated meal equipment to pack alongside your field gear.
Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel Construction
Rothco uses heavy-duty stainless steel for a durable kit intended for repeated outdoor use. Its lightweight construction keeps portability in mind, while the simple pan-and-plate format suits customers looking for basic camp cookware rather than a full cooking set. Choose it when a fry pan and divided eating plate cover your meal plans and you want to keep your campsite equipment compact.
