Product Overview
An adjustable front snap gives the Rothco Hip Holster a straightforward way to secure your sidearm while keeping access simple. Made for 4-inch and 5-inch autos, it combines an adjustable closure with a vinyl-lined interior, addressing both retention and contact between the holster and your firearm.
The snap closure lets you adjust the fit rather than relying on a single fixed setting. It holds the firearm in place when fastened and opens for access when needed. That makes the closure an important part of setting up the holster: take time to adjust it to your particular sidearm so it closes properly around the gun.
A lined interior for regular use
Inside, the vinyl lining helps protect the firearm's finish from scratches and wear caused by repeated contact with the holster. It also provides a smooth surface for holstering and drawing. Rothco describes the overall construction as durable enough for daily use, making this hip holster suitable for routine carry as well as tactical applications.
- Intended firearm size: 4-inch and 5-inch autos.
- Listed compatibility examples: Beretta 92 and selected Colt and Glock models.
- Retention: Adjustable front snap closure.
- Interior: Vinyl lining.
Choosing it for your sidearm
The listed firearm names are useful starting points, but Colt and Glock each cover multiple models. Match the holster to your specific sidearm rather than choosing by brand alone. If you are considering the Rothco Hip Holster for an airsoft loadout, check the dimensions and fit of your particular replica; a shared model name is not enough to establish compatibility.
