Product Overview
A box-shaped pouch can be useful for more than ammunition, especially when you need storage that holds its shape. The Rothco MOLLE II 200 Round SAW Pouch is sized for a 200-round SAW ammo box, with reinforced hard plastic walls that give it structure and help protect what you carry. It also works as a larger utility pouch for small equipment and field accessories, making it useful for airsoft loadouts, tactical packs, and outdoor gear organization.
Structured Storage for Boxes and Loose Gear
Measuring 9.5 x 7 x 3.25 inches, this pouch offers a defined space for a SAW ammo box or a collection of smaller items. The hard plastic reinforcement helps the walls maintain their shape rather than collapsing like an unstructured fabric pouch. That makes the design particularly useful when you want a more structured place to carry gear on the outside of a pack or vest.
For airsoft use, think of it as additional equipment storage rather than a pouch limited to its original ammunition role. You can use it to keep smaller field essentials together instead of spreading them across several pockets. When planning your setup, use the listed dimensions to judge how much space the pouch will occupy and what you intend to carry.
MOLLE Mounting and Buckle Access
Three rear MOLLE straps let you attach the pouch to compatible plate carriers, tactical vests, packs, and other MOLLE-equipped gear. This gives you flexibility in placement: keep it on your vest when access is the priority, or mount it on a pack when you want additional external storage.
A quick-release buckle keeps the closure secured during movement while allowing straightforward access when you need your equipment. Rugged construction rounds out a design intended for demanding tactical and outdoor use. Before choosing a mounting position, consider both the pouch's footprint and whether you can comfortably reach the buckle with your other equipment in place.
