Product Overview
A full spool lets you cut cord to suit each job rather than plan around a handful of precut lengths. The Rothco Nylon Paracord 550lb 600 Ft Spool provides 600 feet for campsite setup, equipment ties, and cordcraft projects, making it useful for anyone who regularly keeps paracord in a pack, gear bin, or workshop.
One supply for field tasks and cordcraft
For camping and outdoor use, you can cut longer sections for shelter lines and shorter pieces for bundling or securing equipment. Airsoft players can also prepare lengths for organizing spare gear at a staging area or tying together rolled items between games. Keeping the main spool with your supplies and carrying only the lengths you need gives you more control over how much cord goes into your field kit.
The same supply works for braided bracelets, keychains, and other DIY cord accessories. With 600 feet to draw from, you can make multiple pieces or work on larger projects without starting with a separate small bundle each time. Measure the amount needed for each project before cutting to make the most of the spool.
100% nylon with a seven-strand core
This paracord uses a seven-strand core and 100% nylon construction, with a diameter of 5/32 inch. Its lightweight construction suits outdoor kits where cord is useful but carrying a heavier rope would be unnecessary. The documented 550 lb tested strength is a cord-strength figure; for climbing, rappelling, or other life-safety tasks, choose equipment specifically rated for that purpose rather than relying on that number alone.
