Product Overview
Cold-weather gloves need to do more than provide warmth: they also need to let your hands move comfortably. Rothco Soft Shell Gloves combine flexible 4-way stretch fabric with a soft micro fleece lining and a weather-resistant membrane, making them useful for chilly airsoft days, hiking, and outdoor work.
Flexible Fabric for Hands-On Tasks
The 4-way stretch construction allows the fabric to move with your hands as you bend your fingers or reach for equipment. Material at the palms and index fingers is intended to support manual dexterity, an important consideration when you need to handle field gear rather than simply keep your hands covered. For an airsoft loadout, that makes flexibility a useful part of the design alongside cold-weather comfort.
Fit matters here, too. Choose a size that gives your fingers room to move without leaving excess material at the fingertips. Stretch helps the gloves accommodate movement, but a suitable size is still important for comfortable equipment handling.
Warmth with a Barrier Against Wind and Wet Weather
Inside, micro fleece provides a soft layer against the skin and adds warmth. The breathable PU membrane is windproof and waterproof, providing a barrier against wind and moisture while allowing breathability. These features address different parts of cold-weather comfort: the lining adds insulation, while the membrane helps shield your hands from the weather.
Ribbed knit cuffs hold the gloves securely at the wrists and help limit the entry of cold air. That close-fitting finish is useful during active outdoor tasks, when an open wrist area can let warmth escape.
