Product Overview
A shower at camp starts with having water ready where you need it. The Rothco Solar Camping Shower combines an approximately 5-gallon water capacity with black PVC material that absorbs solar energy to warm the water inside. It offers a portable way to wash up while camping, spending the day at the beach, or enjoying other outdoor activities.
The solar-heating design makes sunlight part of your camp setup. Rather than carrying a separate water-heating device for this shower, you use the bag’s black PVC construction to collect energy from the sun. Keep that in mind when planning your routine: exposure to sunlight is what allows the shower to warm its contents.
Water flow you can switch on and off
An included hose and showerhead give you the components needed to direct water for washing. The on/off control lets you stop the flow while you soap up and restart it when you are ready to rinse, helping you manage the water you have filled it with. That is useful at campsites where refilling means another trip to a water source.
- Water capacity: Approximately 5 gallons / 20 liters.
- Material: Black PVC designed to absorb solar energy.
- Included components: Hose and showerhead.
- Flow control: On/off switch.
For travel, the compact design makes it easy to pack into a backpack and store between trips. Pack it empty and fill it at your destination to keep the water’s weight out of your travel load. For campers who want a dedicated outdoor shower rather than washing from a bottle or basin, this provides a straightforward setup with a sizable water supply.
