Product Overview
A generous blanket can make a campsite more comfortable without adding another complicated piece of equipment to your kit. The Rothco Striped Outdoor Wool Blanket pairs a heavyweight synthetic wool blend with a roomy 62 x 80-inch size, giving you coverage for wrapping up on your own or sharing with another person. Its striped design brings a little character to a piece of gear intended for regular outdoor and everyday use.
Warmth for camp, the sidelines, and the ride home
Inspired by wool blankets used by the U.S. Military, this outdoor blanket is made to help retain body heat while remaining breathable. The heavyweight blend offers a substantial layer to pull around your shoulders during a cool evening at camp, spread over your lap at an outdoor concert, or keep nearby at a tailgate. For airsoft players attending camping-based events, it also makes a useful addition to your overnight gear for downtime away from the field.
Pico stitching finishes the edges and helps them stand up to repeated handling. That detail is useful on a blanket that will regularly be unfolded, spread out, gathered up, and packed away rather than left on a sofa. Its applications extend from sandy outings to snowy conditions, making it useful to keep with equipment you take outdoors throughout the year.
A full-size blanket to keep in reserve
Despite its heavyweight construction, the blanket folds down for storage in a backpack, survival bag, or vehicle. Keeping it in the car puts an extra layer within reach for an unexpected cold-weather stop, while packing it with camping supplies gives you another source of warmth at your destination. Check the space in your bag before choosing it for a tightly packed loadout; its full unfolded size is part of its appeal.
