Keep your magazines and field essentials together without committing to a single way of carrying them. The Rothco Tactical Assault Panel (TAP) combines a six-pocket magazine layout with accessory storage and a MOLLE front, giving you an organized foundation for an airsoft or tactical loadout. Wear it independently with its shoulder harness, or attach it to a compatible vest or plate carrier setup.
One panel, two ways to carry your gear
The adjustable shoulder harness lets you tailor the panel's fit for standalone use. It is also removable, so you can switch to a vest-mounted arrangement rather than wearing a separate harness over your existing equipment. The TAP supports direct attachment to a Modular Tactical Vest (MTV) and includes shoulder plate carrier adapters and split-bar side-release buckles for integration with compatible systems.
For an airsoft player, that flexibility means you can build your equipment layout around the panel instead of reorganizing your magazines and accessories whenever you change how you carry them. If you plan to mount it to an existing vest or plate carrier, check that system's attachment arrangement against the TAP's adapters and buckles before choosing your setup.
Magazine storage with room for supporting equipment
Six magazine pockets form the main storage area, with hook-and-loop closures to keep their contents secured. At either end, an additional pocket with a hook-and-loop strap provides space for items such as a radio, GPS device, flashlight, or another magazine. These separate pockets let you organize supporting equipment alongside your magazine supply rather than mixing everything into one compartment. Choose what to carry according to the dimensions of your individual equipment.
The front has three rows of MOLLE webbing for adding compatible pouches and accessories. This gives you room to expand the layout around your needs, such as adding a dedicated utility pouch while retaining the panel's built-in storage.
Separate space for maps and smaller essentials
Three large mesh pockets on the back provide another layer of organization for maps, a compass, and other accessories. Keeping these items apart from the front magazine pockets helps you maintain a more deliberate field layout.
