Two adjustments for a more secure fit
An elastic cord at the crown tightens with a cord lock, so you can adjust the hat's fit rather than relying on a fixed size. The one-size-fits-most design accommodates hat sizes 6 3/4–7 3/4. This range is useful to check against your usual hat size before ordering.
The adjustable chin strap serves a different purpose: it helps retain the hat when wind picks up or you're on the move. For outdoor airsoft games, fishing from an exposed bank, or walking a breezy trail, that extra retention can mean less time stopping to reposition your headwear.
Ventilation and a pocket inside the crown
Four screened side vents allow air to circulate through the hat, helping release warm, humid air around your head. Combined with the breathable fabric, they make ventilation part of the design rather than relying on shade alone.
An internal map pocket gives you a tucked-away place for a map, folded paperwork, or spare cash. It is a useful detail for carrying a field reference or small paper items without dedicating another clothing pocket to them.
