Product Overview
A missing shoulder strap doesn’t have to put a useful bag out of service. The Rothco All-Purpose Shoulder Strap With Removable Pad lets you replace an existing strap or add shoulder carry to a bag with suitable attachment points. Swivel clips at both ends make it straightforward to connect to a duffle, weekender, canvas equipment bag, or messenger bag.
The strap adjusts to a maximum length of 48 inches, giving you room to tailor its position to your bag and preferred carrying height. Its removable shoulder pad adds cushioning where the strap rests against your shoulder—helpful when carrying equipment to an airsoft field, packing for a weekend away, or moving a bag between your vehicle and destination. You can also take the pad off when you prefer to use the strap without it.
Measurements at a glance
- Strap width: 1½ inches
- Maximum extended length: 48 inches
- Removable pad dimensions: 8½ inches long × 3 inches wide × ½ inch thick
- Attachment hardware: Swivel clips at each end
If you’re replacing a strap, check that your bag’s attachment points can accept clips and that the maximum length suits how you want to carry it. The swivel ends allow the clips to turn as you position the strap, making attachment less awkward than with fixed hardware. For a cargo or equipment bag you already like, this is a straightforward way to restore its shoulder-carry function without replacing the bag itself.
