Product Overview
Overgrown paths and tangled yard vegetation call for a cutting tool with more reach than a small outdoor knife. The Rothco G.I. Style 18" Machete pairs an 18-inch steel blade with a riveted plastic handle for clearing foliage, tackling landscaping tasks, and preparing firewood.
The well-balanced blade makes this machete suited to repeated cutting work, from opening up an overgrown trail to managing vegetation around your property. Its long cutting edge provides room to work through foliage, making clearing and chopping its main roles rather than the finer tasks you would normally assign to a smaller knife.
Riveted Handle with a Lanyard Attachment Point
The plastic handle is secured directly to the steel tang with rivets. That attachment helps keep the handle stable as you work, while providing a comfortable grip for longer clearing sessions. A hole in the handle gives you a place to attach a lanyard for carrying or hanging the tool between jobs.
For landscapers, campers, and people maintaining outdoor property, this Rothco machete brings several common cutting tasks into one tool. Choose it when your main needs are vegetation clearing and general outdoor chopping, particularly where a longer blade is more useful than a compact knife.
