Product Overview
An angled head gives the Rothco G.I. Type D-Cell Flashlight a useful alternative to a straight-bodied light: the beam points across the body rather than out of its end. Combined with a metal belt clip, this layout makes it a convenient light to keep on your gear for campsite tasks, field preparation, or an outdoor emergency kit.
The high-impact plastic body keeps the flashlight lightweight, while its waterproof construction makes it suitable for use in wet conditions. For airsoft players, it offers a traditional G.I.-style lighting accessory for a loadout or equipment bag, with useful features for organizing gear and handling tasks around camp.
Light control and manual signaling
A multi-mode switch controls the light, and a separate signal button lets you produce flashes for Morse code communication. You control the timing of those flashes yourself, making the button useful for practicing deliberate light signals rather than simply switching the flashlight on and leaving it running.
Four included filter lenses let you change the beam's color. They store in the bottom of the flashlight, so you can keep them with the light instead of carrying loose filters in a separate pouch.
- Included filters: Red, blue, yellow, and green.
- Power format: D-cell flashlight.
- Attachment hardware: Metal belt clip and a metal ring at the bottom.
Small details that keep the kit together
The bottom ring provides another attachment point for connecting the flashlight to gear, while the belt clip keeps it accessible on your belt. A spare bulb is also included, stored beneath the battery spring. Having that replacement inside the flashlight keeps an important maintenance item close at hand without requiring extra space in your kit.
If you prefer a flashlight with onboard accessories, manual signaling, and more than one way to carry it, this Rothco design brings those features together in a lightweight, angled-body format.
