Product Overview
A first aid kit is easier to keep with your outdoor gear when its supplies are gathered in a compact, protective case. The Rothco General Purpose First Aid Kit - Adaptable contains over 50 first aid items, including assorted bandages, wound-care supplies, basic tools, and examination gloves. This version has been adapted for air shipments and export orders and does not include alcohol prep pads or a cold pack.
The high-impact, hard-shell plastic case has a moisture-resistant gasket that helps keep water and moisture away from the contents. Measuring approximately 7 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 3/4 inches, it gives you a defined-size kit to plan around when organizing a camping rucksack, emergency bag, or airsoft field pack. The rigid shell also keeps the supplies together rather than leaving individual packets loose among your other equipment.
More than adhesive bandages
The assortment includes adhesive bandages in two sizes, Steripads, Telfa pads, a sponge pack, and tape, along with military, conforming, and elastic bandages. That variety provides different dressing options within one kit. Scissors and tweezers add basic tools, while the examination gloves and included instructions round out the supplies.
For customers comparing this adaptable version with another kit, the contents matter more than the name alone. Although alcohol prep pads are excluded, this kit still includes iodine PVP prep pads and BZK towelettes, as well as antibiotic ointment, soap, and peroxide.
