Product Overview
A cot or pup tent can provide a place to rest, but insect coverage makes time at camp more comfortable. The Rothco Genuine GI OD Mosquito Net adds an ultra-fine mesh barrier around your sleeping setup to help keep mosquitoes and other small insects out. This is new government-issue netting in olive drab, with reinforced edges, reinforced corners, and ties for securing it in place.
The no-see-um mesh is the defining feature here. Its fine construction is intended to exclude small biting insects, making this net useful for camping and other outdoor stays where bugs can interrupt your downtime. It fits over cots and pup tents, giving you an insect barrier for those setups rather than requiring a separate enclosed shelter.
Secure the net around your camp setup
The ties let you attach and position the net around your cot or pup tent. Reinforcement along the edges and at the corners supports the areas that receive handling and tension during setup. When arranging it, pay attention to the lower edges and any openings: an insect barrier works best when bugs do not have an easy route underneath or around it.
Beyond sleeping-area coverage, the net can also serve as a hunting blind for concealment. Its olive drab color suits subdued outdoor setups, and that secondary use may appeal to customers putting together hunting gear or a temporary concealed position for an airsoft event. Choose it primarily for fine-mesh insect coverage, with concealment as an additional use.
